Har Meron
This sweet port-style dessert wine is made from ripe cabernet sauvignon grapes, merlot, and shiraz grapes that were selectively hand-harvested, and only the richest clusters were brought to the winery where they underwent a 3 day controlled cooling process. The juice was extracted and fermented at controlled temperatures to maintain the characteristic fruity flavor. Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels outdoors.
Tasting Notes
This sweet port-style dessert wine made from cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and shiraz grapes has a red color with purple hues on the edges, a full-body and an aroma of dried fruit, coffee grains, and toasted oak with a soft gentle taste and a sourness that balances the sweetness. The wine has a sweet, long-lasting finish.
